Four piece female fronted band, distinctively performing rock, blues and country music. Fire Rose is a refreshing local group surprising audiences around the twin cities since 2008. This professional and delightful group of musicians includes the vocally powerful, ear catching lead vocalist Marie Avenue, the enchanting bassist and vocalist Josephine Lane, the man on the drums driving the groove, George Hamilton and a selection of highly talented guitarists who will turn your head. 

There's no mistake that this is not just another cover band. See for yourself and let your ears decide. This band has a unique selection of songs that keep people moving on the dance floor and in their seats.

The Fire Rose Band's sonic and somtimes gentle sound will give you blends of Melissa Etheridge, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, Natalie Merchant and Martina McBride all rolled into one. 

Marie Avenue was selected to sing the National Anthem for the Governor's Fire Prevention Day to honor our fallen hero's at the MN State Fair 2011. And on occasion, she sings the National Anthem for the MN Golden Gopher's mens hockey team at Mariucci Arena as well as several other Gopher's sports teams.
